Terms of Service

Effective date: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Beck app ("Beck", the "app") provided by Visionion ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Beck, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License to use Beck

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Beck on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, or reverse-engineer it except to the extent that applicable law permits.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create in Beck — your tasks, projects, notes, attachments, and other data ("Your Content"). You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own backups where important. If you use cloud sync, you grant us the limited permission to store and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the sync service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Beck to:

  • break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload, store, or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service, or circumvent security or usage limits.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.

4. Accounts

An account is optional and only needed for cloud sync. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us at info@visionion.dev if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Beck Pro, subscriptions, and purchases

Beck offers optional paid upgrades ("Beck Pro") sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

  • Monthly subscription — auto-renewing, priced at $2.99 per month.
  • Annual subscription — auto-renewing, priced at $24.99 per year, including a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
  • Lifetime — a one-time purchase of $79.99 that unlocks Pro features (not a subscription).

Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time. All purchases are processed by Apple under your Apple ID.

Auto-renewal terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • A subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your device's App Store account settings after purchase.
  • If you start a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies; we do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly. Restoring purchases (including Lifetime) is available in the app's settings.

6. Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features over time, and may release updates. We may also discontinue the app or certain features; where reasonable we will give notice of significant changes.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Beck is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements, or that any data will always be preserved. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visionion will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Beck. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Third-party terms

Your use of Beck through the App Store is also subject to Apple's terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content, but may be a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms as they relate to your license to use the app.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Beck after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
