How do I sync my tasks across devices?
Sync is optional. Open Settings → Account in Beck and create an account with your email and a password. Once you're signed in on each device, your tasks, projects, labels, Smart Lists, automation rules, habits, and file attachments sync automatically. If you never sign in, Beck still works — your data just stays on that one device.
Does Beck work offline?
Yes. Beck is local-first, so nearly everything works fully offline with no account. Your data lives on your device. If you use cloud sync, changes made offline are synced the next time you're online.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings → Beck Pro and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID and restores an active subscription or your Lifetime unlock. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used to buy.
How do I cancel Beck Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside Beck. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, tap Beck, and choose Cancel Subscription. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends. Cancelling stops renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. The one-time Lifetime unlock is not a subscription and has nothing to cancel.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings → Account → Delete Account in Beck. This deletes your synced data — tasks, attachments, and account — from our servers. You can also email info@visionion.dev to request deletion. To remove local data from a device, delete the items in the app or remove the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I import tasks from a CSV file?
Open Settings → Import and choose your CSV file (for example, an export from another task app or a spreadsheet). Beck maps common columns like title, due date, notes, project, and priority, and lets you review before importing. If your file uses unusual columns and something doesn't map cleanly, email us the file and we'll help.
Do location reminders track me?
No. Location reminders are handled on your device only, with your permission. Your live location is never sent to us — see the Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
